Job Summary

Anori Tech is developing a next‑generation, software‑defined Battery Management System (BMS) that can be configured for any battery chemistry within days. The Algorithm Engineer will design and implement core battery state estimation algorithms—such as state of charge (SoC) and state of health (SoH)—in embedded Rust firmware. Responsibilities include creating equivalent circuit models, developing balancing strategies, and validating models on real hardware. The role also extends to building data pipelines and fleet analytics in the cloud, enabling advanced analytics for large battery deployments. Collaboration with the CTO, firmware and hardware teams is integral to the position. Candidates will bring hands‑on experience with Kalman‑type filters, physics‑based battery modeling, and numerical algorithm implementation on constrained devices. Strong Python skills for simulation and data analysis are required. The engineer will also oversee experiment design, performance trade‑off analysis, and may contribute to machine‑learning approaches for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.
