Anthropic is seeking an experienced engineer to secure the autonomous hardware and software that powers its AI infrastructure. The role covers everything from drones and ground robots used for perimeter patrol and equipment inspection to the detection and monitoring of uncrewed systems in and around data center sites. The engineer will design, select, and deploy the necessary sensors, platforms, and AI‑driven tools that enable continuous, self‑triaging coverage of critical assets. Key responsibilities include defining operating models for autonomous fleets, integrating vendor APIs and telemetry into a unified security platform, and creating playbooks that translate raw detection data into actionable evidence for operators and authorities. The candidate will also develop regulatory compliance frameworks for sensing, flight, and data retention, ensuring all deployments meet aviation, spectrum, privacy, and safety standards.
