Cloud Platform Senior Consultant

Job Summary

Simpson Associates is seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Senior Consultant to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of Azure solutions for its clients. The role involves full‑stack Azure expertise—from landing zones, networking and identity to security, governance, cost optimisation and operations—ensuring that environments are architected, secure and resilient. The consultant will act as the senior technical lead on engagements, guiding clients through platform design decisions, driving discovery and implementation, and working closely with data platform and security teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Strong consultancy skills are required to translate complex concepts into clear recommendations for both technical teams and senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Azure infrastructure as code, designing hybrid connectivity, managing identity and security controls, optimising resources for performance and cost, and overseeing migration and modernisation projects. The role also involves client delivery, stakeholder management and, once security clearance is obtained, participation in a managed‑service on‑call rota.
