Job Summary

CACI International Inc is recruiting a seasoned background investigator to support federal background investigation contracts across the United States. The role involves using advanced technology platforms to conduct thorough interviews, review records, and compile comprehensive reports that establish the suitability and character of subjects. Candidates will handle a mix of virtual, telephone, and in‑person interviews, and may be required for temporary duty assignments lasting up to two weeks. The position demands a strong investigative mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance, and possess a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally. Training includes a one‑week intensive virtual program and ongoing exposure to diverse investigative contracts.
