Job Summary

micro1 is looking for experienced Fighter Pilots and Weapons Systems Officers to collaborate on an AI‑driven project that enhances military decision‑making. The role focuses on reviewing AI‑generated scenarios related to fighter aviation, combat operations, and tactical decision‑making, ensuring that the AI’s outputs align with real‑world procedures and Rules of Engagement. Contractors will assess mission plans, air‑to‑air and air‑to‑ground operations, and weapons employment for accuracy and realism. Feedback will be provided in clear written reports that help refine the AI’s reasoning and reliability. Candidates should be current or former military pilots or WSOs with hands‑on experience on aircraft such as F‑16, F/A‑18, F‑15, F‑35, or A‑10, and possess deep knowledge of aviation tactics, mission planning, and weapons systems. Strong written communication and a background in weapons training or combat leadership are highly valued.
