Financial Controller

Job Summary

DAC Beachcroft is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to chair day‑to‑day financial operations and deliver robust financial management. The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, leading the budgeting and forecasting cycle, and monitoring performance against targets. The candidate will ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and statutory requirements, manage cash flow, and liaise with auditors and tax advisors. As a senior finance leader, the successful applicant will spearhead internal controls, develop policies, and provide financial insight to support strategic decision‑making. The role also includes coaching and developing the finance team, driving continuous improvement across finance processes, and supporting business planning and investment appraisal. The ideal candidate holds an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, has a minimum of five years’ senior finance experience, and is proficient in advanced Excel and ERP systems such as Sage, Xero or SAP. Strong analytical, stakeholder communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a proactive, ethical, and results‑oriented mindset.
