Head of Global Engineering Steriles Operations

Job Summary

Viatris, a global healthcare company, is looking for an experienced leader to head its Global Engineering Steriles Operations. The role involves strategic oversight of engineering, facilities, utilities, and capital projects across all sterile manufacturing sites, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will drive lean and digital transformation initiatives, optimize asset performance, and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets. Key responsibilities include leading capacity expansion, plant upgrades, and automation projects; maintaining audit readiness and supporting regulatory inspections; standardizing engineering practices across sites; and mentoring engineering teams to foster succession planning. The candidate must bring deep knowledge of sterile pharmaceutical environments, strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record in injectables manufacturing. Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline) and have significant experience in people and process management within the pharmaceutical industry.
