Head of Operations – Polymer Recycling Plant

Job Summary

The role involves full responsibility for day‑to‑day operations at the Viersen plant, covering production, maintenance, inventory control, logistics, safety, and sustainable resource use. The incumbent will lead and develop the production team, ensuring efficient scheduling and staffing. Key duties include driving continuous improvement of regranulation and recompounding processes, applying lean and Kaizen principles to boost productivity, managing budgets, and overseeing investment and cost controls. The position requires ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and occupational safety standards. Candidates should bring extensive experience in manufacturing management, particularly within polymer or recycling sectors, and possess strong analytical, leadership and communication skills in German and English.
