Junior AI Application Engineer – AI Products (LLM & RAG)

Job Summary

Machine Learning Reply is looking for a Junior AI Application Engineer to help transform cutting‑edge AI technologies into scalable products for corporate clients. The role focuses on building user‑centric AI applications such as enterprise assistants, copilots, semantic search platforms, and automation systems using large language models (LLMs) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG). Key responsibilities include designing and developing AI‑powered features, creating scalable microservices and APIs, prototyping quickly, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other AI engineers. Candidates will also deploy AI systems to cloud environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability through CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization. Applicants should have a degree in computer science or a related field, proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks, and experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or Hugging Face. Practical knowledge of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential, along with strong communication skills in German and English.
