Linux Administrator / Consultant (Remote)

Job Summary

A long‑term client is looking for a Linux Administrator / Consultant to join their team in a full‑time, remote capacity within the DACH region. The role involves managing and supporting technically complex Linux environments, providing expert guidance on system architecture, and collaborating closely with customers on solution design. Key responsibilities include administering Linux servers, troubleshooting network and authentication issues (DNS, Active Directory, LDAP), working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git and tools like GitLab CI. The candidate will also participate in pre‑sales activities, estimate effort, and contribute to proposal development. Candidates should have several years of experience in client‑facing technical projects, a deep understanding of Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and IAM solutions (e.g., Keycloak, Azure AD, ADFS). Strong communication skills, the ability to structure requirements, and a proactive, independent working style are essential. Familiarity with Kubernetes and API integration is highly desirable.
