Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

Job Summary

Autolus, a biopharmaceutical company focused on next‑generation T cell therapies for cancer and autoimmune disease, is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a strategic scientific partner. The MSL will build and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, payers, and other key stakeholders across the United States. Responsibilities include delivering scientifically appropriate evidence, identifying medical intelligence, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as commercial, market access, and clinical research to improve patient access and outcomes. The role requires strong scientific communication skills, expertise in the therapeutic area, and an ability to engage stakeholders in a meaningful, evidence‑driven manner. The position is full‑time, based in New England (remote work available). Candidates will work closely with senior leadership to shape disease‑area strategies, support data generation plans, and contribute to the company’s global clinical and commercial initiatives. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of oncology or autoimmune disease biology, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and a track record of engaging external scientific communities.
