Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

This role focuses on building and governing the company’s BI and analytics landscape using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, with SAP as the primary data source. The successful candidate will design data pipelines, create reusable data models, and develop foundational reports for various business units. They will also establish governance practices—workspaces, data model certification, naming conventions, permissions, and deployment processes—while addressing data quality gaps in collaboration with stakeholders. Beyond model development, the engineer will serve as the primary liaison for business users, translating requirements into actionable solutions and enabling self‑service analytics. The position requires strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL, as well as experience with Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Factory, and Dataflows. Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL‑300, DP‑600, DP‑700) is advantageous.
