Project Manager – Broadband / FTTx

Job Summary

The role involves leading broadband expansion projects from initial planning through to final handover. The project manager takes full ownership of the project lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include coordinating all stakeholders such as civil engineering firms, planning offices, municipalities, and other process participants. The manager monitors project goals related to schedule, cost, quality, and compliance with funding regulations, while also handling tendering and procurement of planning and construction services. Regular reporting to internal stakeholders and executive leadership is part of the daily routine. Candidates should hold a degree in civil or industrial engineering (or a comparable qualification) and have several years of experience in network, civil, or broadband deployment. Strong project‑management skills, knowledge of tendering procedures, and the ability to work cross‑functionally are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and German language skills at least at C1 level are required.
