Quality Control Manager – Food & Safety

Job Summary

The Quality Control Manager will oversee all aspects of product quality and regulatory compliance for raw materials and finished goods produced by external contract manufacturers. Responsibilities include reviewing Certificates of Analysis, approving testing protocols, and managing the release or rejection of samples based on established specifications. This role requires close collaboration with Operations, R&D, QA, and Regulatory teams to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing quality monitoring. The manager will lead a virtual QC team, coordinate with third‑party labs for microbiological and chemical testing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as lean processes and CAPA implementation. Key duties involve leading material review boards, disposing of non‑conforming products, maintaining accurate QC records in line with FDA 21 CFR Part 111/117, and staying current on industry trends and regulatory changes to keep product safety at the highest standard.
