Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Accelerant seeks a seasoned security professional to enhance the safety of its cloud‑based risk‑exchange platform. The role blends hands‑on application hardening, vulnerability management, and penetration testing with close collaboration with development teams. The incumbent will own the end‑to‑end security lifecycle for web apps, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, driving remediation of critical and high‑severity findings and deploying security automation tools. Key responsibilities include leading external penetration testing programs, integrating SAST/DAST/Container scanning into workflows, maintaining WAF policies, and supporting ISO 27001, SOX, and SOC compliance efforts.
