Senior Manager, Training & Development – Obesity & Related Conditions

Job Summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of impactful learning solutions for its Obesity & Related Conditions commercial team. The role will craft onboarding content, launch curricula, field learning modules, and national sales workshops, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and commercialization timelines. Working closely with cross‑functional partners—including Brand, Marketing, Medical, Patient Access, and Sales Leadership—the manager will translate complex product and disease‑state information into engaging, role‑relevant training experiences. Key responsibilities include managing a learning roadmap, overseeing external vendor relationships, and measuring training effectiveness through KPIs and data analytics. The position requires a strong foundation in adult learning principles, instructional design, and project management, along with the ability to scale learning initiatives across instructor‑led, virtual, e‑learning, and coaching formats. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards, and driving continuous improvement of training programs. Travel of up to 20% is expected. Candidates must bring experience in designing scalable learning solutions in a commercial environment, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for driving learning impact in the healthcare sector.
