Senior Property Risk Control Consultant

Job Summary

Aon’s Property Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Property Risk Control Consultant to support clients across a range of occupancies, from manufacturing to soft retail. The role involves detailed risk surveys, analysis of natural catastrophe exposure, and the preparation of underwriting reports. Candidates will work closely with brokers, vendors, and carriers, attending meetings and managing vendor RFPs. Key responsibilities include assembling COPE data, conducting natural catastrophe surveys, evaluating NFPA and FM Global fire protection systems, and performing flood exposure analysis in line with NIFP and FEMA guidelines. The position requires frequent travel (30‑40%) to client sites and the ability to conduct on‑site inspections, including roof and upper‑floor access. The role demands strong technical knowledge of fire protection standards, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to translate complex risk data into actionable recommendations. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience, plus professional certifications, is preferred. Candidates should be self‑sufficient, organized, and physically fit for on‑site assessments. The role is fully remote with occasional travel and offers competitive compensation with incentive components.
