Senior SAP Consultant / Developer – S/4HANA Transformation

Job Summary

Promantis GmbH, a German SAP‑consulting firm, seeks an experienced senior SAP consultant and developer to lead S/4HANA transformation projects for energy utilities. The role involves designing and executing data migration strategies, mapping legacy systems to S/4HANA, and ensuring data quality and performance throughout the transition. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business units, key users, and project teams to analyse existing SAP and non‑SAP landscapes, develop extraction, mapping, and transformation logic, and build migration programs using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and custom scripts. They will also conduct testing, support go‑live activities, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. A strong background in ABAP (including ABAP Objects), data modelling, and SAP utilities modules (SAP IS‑U) is required. Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills, along with a proactive, hands‑on attitude, are essential for driving successful transformations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
