Senior Software Engineer – AI Coding Tasks

Job Summary

Askable is seeking experienced software engineers to create challenging coding tasks for AI model evaluation. Candidates will select changes from familiar open‑source repositories, draft concise briefs, write correct solutions, and develop rigorous grading checks. Tasks are reviewed by a team and paid upon approval. The role involves around 10 hours per week, with the opportunity to complete multiple tasks. Applicants must have at least two years of professional coding experience, be proficient in Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or C++, and possess strong Docker, Linux, Git, and automated testing skills. Experience with AI coding tools and writing evaluation rubrics is a plus. The work is remote and contract‑based, with payment of US$1,000 for each task that passes quality review. Candidates must own a secure personal or work computer and refrain from publishing the work publicly.
