Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) – Merchant EMEA

Job Summary

Wolt is looking for a seasoned Fullstack Engineer to join its Merchant Engineering team in Berlin. The role involves building and maintaining production-ready services that power merchant onboarding, analytics, menu management, and other core features across 37 countries. You will design APIs, develop data models, and work closely with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable, observable software. The engineer will own features from concept to production, collaborate on technical design, and contribute to improving system reliability and maintainability. A strong background in Go, Kotlin, TypeScript, and React is expected, along with experience using Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. The position emphasizes an AI‑first mindset, encouraging the use of modern AI tools while maintaining ownership of the final solution.
