The role blends deep technical work with coaching responsibilities: 80% of the time is spent writing, reviewing, and shipping production code using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, while 20% focuses on mentoring teammates and running 1:1s. The successful candidate will design sophisticated user interfaces that handle large datasets, enable complex workflow configuration, and provide AI‑enhanced decision support. They will own features from design through deployment, tackle performance and scalability challenges, and collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams. Beyond coding, the manager will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by coaching junior engineers, sharing best practices, and supporting career growth. No prior formal manager title is required; strong technical chops and a passion for mentoring are the key criteria.
