Strategic Buyer – Automotive Spare Parts

Job Summary

Join roadsurfer’s supply‑chain team as a Strategic Buyer responsible for automotive spare parts, technical components and accessories for a Europe‑wide fleet of campervans and motorhomes. In this role you will design and implement sourcing strategies, manage dual‑sourcing and make‑or‑buy decisions, and conduct thorough TCO analyses. You will analyse national and international procurement markets, identify new suppliers, and build long‑term partnerships with OEMs, Tier‑1 and aftermarket vendors. Supplier selection, continuous improvement, audits and KPI‑based reviews will be part of your daily work. Negotiating prices, contracts, SLAs and bonus arrangements will be handled independently. Collaboration with Fleet Management, Operations, Finance, Legal and workshop teams is essential to ensure reliable spare‑part supply, minimise vehicle downtime, and optimise inventory and demand planning. You will also drive digitalisation of procurement processes and manage ERP data to track key performance indicators.
