Tracking Specialist (GTM) – Remote

Job Summary

Atomic HR, a performance marketing agency focused on higher education and nonprofit clients, seeks a Tracking Specialist to oversee web analytics and pixel deployment across multiple platforms. The role involves setting up and maintaining Google Tag Manager containers, building data layers, and managing server‑side tagging to ensure accurate measurement from click to CRM entry. Key responsibilities include integrating conversion tracking with Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, configuring GA4 events, conducting QA and debugging of tags, and ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations. The specialist will collaborate closely with Paid Media and Web Services teams, audit tag health, and document technical setups for internal use. Candidates should have 3+ years of hands‑on tracking experience in a marketing or agency environment, strong skills in GTM, GA4, and Conversion APIs, and familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript. A solution‑driven mindset, analytical skills, and experience with data privacy requirements are essential.
