BJP president Nitin Nabin, accompanied by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya, led a rally in Kolkata on Monday. The event followed the INDIA bloc’s protest at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls, which also demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Nabin stated that the party would not tolerate “ghuspetiyas” (intruders) on the rolls.
