The Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) has announced that a Vande Mataram tribute will be part of its forthcoming edition, signalling a renewed focus on national pride within the festival’s cultural agenda.
In addition to the tribute, the festival’s organisers are currently reviewing the design of the KIFF trophy. The new design will be introduced in the upcoming award ceremony after the review process.
Both the tribute and trophy redesign are aimed at reinforcing KIFF’s position as a leading cultural event in West Bengal while offering a fresh look to its recognitions.
