KMC commissioner Smita Pandey visited the health department on Monday, joined a queue, and instructed officials to raise the number of counters that issue birth and death certificates after seeing the problems faced by citizens.
During her surprise visit, Pandey observed the challenges citizens encountered while waiting for certificates and consequently ordered the expansion of service counters to improve the process.
