A junior fest was held recently at a Kolkata school, bringing together students, teachers and parents for a day of performances and exhibitions. The program featured a mix of music, dance, drama and visual arts, allowing the children to showcase both their individual talents and collaborative efforts.
During the event, several students performed original songs and covers, while dance troupes presented choreographed routines. The drama section included short skits that highlighted the students’ sense of humor and storytelling abilities. In addition to performances, a display of paintings and crafts was set up, showcasing the artistic skills nurtured through school projects.
Teachers and parents applauded the students’ dedication, noting the effort that went into rehearsals and preparations. Organisers highlighted the importance of such events in fostering confidence, teamwork and creative expression among young learners.
The school’s principal expressed gratitude to the faculty and volunteers who made the fest possible and encouraged students to continue exploring their artistic passions beyond the classroom.
