The Government of Telangana announced that a refreshed Aerospace and Defence Policy 2.0 will be introduced in the near future. Chief Minister K. T. Rama Rao, popularly called Revanth, said the policy aims to attract both domestic and foreign investment into the state’s defence and aerospace industries.

He highlighted that the policy’s objectives include boosting local manufacturing, creating employment, and strengthening the state’s strategic capabilities.

Revanth assured that political and ideological disagreements will not interfere with the state’s commitment to fostering investment and development. He reiterated the administration’s clear approach and strong determination to promote economic growth.

The announcement is expected to position Telangana as a key player in India’s defence sector, potentially drawing attention from West Bengal’s own industrial and defence stakeholders.
